September Cholesterol Screenings

Myrtle Beach, SC - As part of Grand Strand Regional Medical Center’s monthly screening program, the following cholesterol screenings have been scheduled for September:
Finger-stick screenings are scheduled for: Wednesday, September 5 and 19, 8:30 – 9:30 am at the YMCA, 62nd Avenue N. extension and Wednesday, September 12, 9 – 10 am at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center.
The finger-stick screenings measure total cholesterol for $7 or a lipid profile (Total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and triglycerides) for $20, with results available in less than five minutes. A 12-hour fast is required for the lipid profile.
Total cholesterol screenings and a lipid profile are also available at HealthFinders at Coastal Grand Mall, Monday - Saturday, 10 am – 7:30 pm on a walk-in basis.
