Myrtle Beach, SC (Wednesday, May 11, 2016) – Grand Strand Health is proud to announce the winners of our Awards of Distinction which are the highest honors that Grand Strand Health bestows on our employees, physicians and volunteers. These awards include the Frist Humanitarian Awards, Excellence in Nursing Awards and Innovators Awards.
The Frist Humanitarian Award winners are: Jarratt Lark, MD for the Physician Award; Carl Habeck for the Employee Award; Maureen Dwyer for the Volunteer Award. The Excellence in Nursing Award has two categories and the winners are: Jason Cimineri, RN, for Compassionate Care; Virginia McCarey, RN, for Professional Mentoring. The Innovator Award winners are: Monica Mills, RN, for Financial Impact; Charles D. Williams, RN, for Quality and Patient Safety; Amanda Neace, PharmD, for Service Excellence.
These awards honor exceptional individuals whose work and lives reflect the patient-centered and humanitarian values upon which Grand Strand Health was founded. The exemplary service and selflessness of each recipient challenges and inspires us all to live and preserve our hospital’s mission of caring for and improving human life.
