Myrtle Beach, SC - Three Grand Strand Regional Medical Center emergency department nurses have been selected to attend the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) national conference, representing emergency nurses in South Carolina. The September ENA conference in Nashville, TN, will attract thousands of nurses from around the nation.

  • Laura Benjamin, RN, CEN, was selected by the national ENA as a nurse representative. Laura will assist in reviewing and restructuring the Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum Course. Laura is certified in emergency nursing and trauma nursing and works with Grand Strand Regional’s Level II trauma service.
  • Gina Carbino, RN, CEN, president of the local ENA, has been selected as a South Carolina delegate. Gina will work on creating, reviewing and critiquing policies and emergency nursing practice issues as the national standard of care for emergency room nurses nationwide.
  • Victoria Grainger, RN, CEN, was chosen be the South Carolina ENA president as an alternate delegate to attend and observe national delegations at the ENA conference.
